Best Chill Deep House began in 1999 as a small record stall at the Leipzig weekend market — a folding table, a milk crate of twelve-inches, and a hand-painted sign. What started as a side project between two friends who couldn’t agree on which records deserved to be heard grew into one of Central Europe’s most respected underground labels.
We have always believed that deep house music is not background noise. It is a conversation — between producer and listener, between a bassline and the room, between stillness and something just about to move. Every release we put out is chosen because it has something worth saying.
Over the years, Best Chill Deep House has released music from artists across Germany, Portugal, West Africa, and Japan — united less by geography than by a shared approach: patience, space, and the long groove.
Today we run a record label, a curated streaming channel, and seasonal live events across Leipzig, Berlin, and Hamburg. If you find our music, it usually means you were already looking for it.
